First, get hold of a few books. Check out the library and book stores. I'll recomend the ABC's of Reloading. Any reloading manual will also have a how to section. I liked the ABC's and Lyman's Handbook. As far as set up goes, get a starter kit. What brand, that's all up to you and starting a discussion on brands is a ford vs chevy vs dodge debate, everyone will have a different view. Start with a single stage press so you can learn the process. Besides, start with anything else and you will just make mistakes faster and spend more time fixing them. You can shop around online for a used kit and possibly save a few bucks. Here is one site where you can read reviews, http://www.midwayusa.com/. I really like to read reviews there but I often buy from some other place as the price may be lower and so I don't have to pay sales tax like I do from midway. Feel free to ask lots of questions, I sure did when I started just over a year ago, and I still ask questions.

Read several manuals before starting, and it helps greatly to have someone walk you through it the first few times.
