Dumb Question regarding .223 bullets
Everywhere I look for .223 bullets for reloading I find that the bullets are constantly listed as 22 caliber (.223 - .224). In particular, the bullets are listed as .224. Are these the bullets I utilized for .223 reloads for my AR?

It IS confusing. But cartridge names have little or nothing to do with the correct bullet diameter. The 218 Bee, 219 Zipper, 220 Swift, 221 Fireball, 222 and 223 Remington, 224 Weatherby and the 225 Winchester ALL use .224" bullets. Then there's the 38 Special, which uses bullets of .357"... 0 -
Very helpful and good to know. Thank you.
