25-06 with Varget

Anyone have any experience with this powder.I have not used it, and would like to know of any successes or performance problems before I buy a jar.

I use varget (44 gr. with a 100 gr. ballistic points) I have shot some of my best groups with this set up but - .4and .7inch...... tends to get a flyer that opens up for me at least. IMR 4831 is also another powder I have played with. I think the set up is a good one my guns just is MOODY like my ex! ( Surely could never be the shooter!)

I have been very happy with Varget in my 30-06 and 308, killed lots of deer with it.

Thanx for the info. I am going to try Varget and will build up some loads for the 25-06 and 22-250.I will see what kind groups I can put together if I play with it a little.

Thanks for some great information guys. That is why I love this site. With a little search you can get some great info on reloading for a particular load. Here is what it done for my 25-06...
