Optimal Bullet size for 9mm Luger

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the best bullet size/weight for the 9mm being shot out of short barrels (4" or even 3.5")? 115gr or the 124gr?

  I've shot 115's,124's and 147gr. in my 9mm,s. It depends what you want the gun and bullet to do, and what type of shooting you are doing. The different weight,s will change the point on impact.

  Primary use will be through paper with FMJs. Indoor target shooting. As far as my hollow points, I have usually done to the smaller bullet weights across my calibers to ensure enough velocity out of short barrels for optimal HP expansion.
