Rice without polish. Add polish if you want to make it shiny. 0 -
If real dirty-walnut with polish. Clean-corn cob or rice. 0 -
Well if you REALLY want to get it clean, an ultrasonic cleaner.
Tumblers do more for the outside. Not so much for the inside with rifle brass.0 -
+1 on Rice. cheapest stuff you can buy 0 -
Haven't tried rice, but it might be great. For me, it's walnut to clean or corncob to polish. I stopped using polish additives altogether because after a while they form a gray crud on the cases that has to be scrubbed off by hand. Dry media also empties from the cases much better with no hidden clumping inside - which I'm sure could raise pressures to a possibly dangerous level. 0 -
I have preferred using corn cob (extra fine). It does a great job and is clean to work with.

I use Lyman's walnut media and a little polish.
Ran a TON of cases thru it and no problems so far.0
