Unless you have worn part in your bolt, you don't need those. Read this and pass it on:

If you do have worn parts it's much better to fix them. Those primers were a marketing idea from someone at CCI to fix a problem that does not exist and to sell a product by creating doubt and fear in the minds of certain people.

As a general rule, all CCI primers tend to be among the hardest and Federals tend to be the softest.

I use CCI Mag Small Rifle Primers and have never had a slam fire

I have noticed a small pin prick mark on the primers of loaded shells that have been chambered and then un chambered but only in one of my two AR's. the RRA doesn't do this but the new (less than 50rds) DPMS does it every time

Some military semi-automatics are known to have slam fires. The 49 and 49/56 MAS are notorious for them. I use the CCI military primers when I load for them. I have not hade any problems with my FAL or Hakim.

Any firearm that has a floating firing pin WILL do this. Some guns have a spring on the firing pin to allow it to go forward if a hammer hits it but has enough tension to keep the inertia from moving it when closing the bolt.
