load data for 200gr RNFP lead 45ACP bullet?
I have 1000 lead round nose flat point .452 bullets. My books have no load data for such a beast. I am using W231 powder and am thinking I should start around 5gr according to the 200gr lead bullet data I do have. Anyone no what OAL should be?

Hello the best OAL is done by removing barrel and set the seater die so the loaded round will drop into the chamber with the Base of the case about .10 inch inside of flush with the breach face end of the barrel hood. Then make sure it is not too long to load in the Magazine. 0 -
5.0gr. 231 should give you about 750fps. try 1.200 for OAL, and see how much shoulder is out of brass. Try in chamber like Perry suggests. 0 -
5 grs of Bullseye has worked for me for years.

Brought back from the past [:o)]
These are the same bullets I'm using , but I want to use Unique Powder , is 6.3 too hot of a load ?

You'll be fine with that load. I used 6.5grs. of Unique with a 230gr. lead bullet with no problems. 0
