Try using a "good" Micrometer. Calipers are not as accurate as a Mic.

You are only talking ONE thousandth of an inch total diameter which is one HALF thousandth per side. The average human hair is 0.003" thick.

You should be fine using those bullets.

The .001 is not going to make any difference. There could be that much play or more in the calipers, or in the sizing die.

You may find they shoot very well and don't lead the bore as bad as some others you have used . The ONLY problem you may have is some brass is thicker then others This brass along with these bullets may not allow easy chambering My suggestion is to load 1/2 dozen Then remove barrel from gun and see if the round will fully chamber under it's own weight. If not you might have to look for some thinner brass Remington REM UMC and TZZ brass is some of the thinnest REM UMC and TZZ is military brass. but you might be able to find some. You are looking for a Max outside diameter of about .473 where the bullet is inside the case with case mouth tapered crimped to .469 If the loaded round looks like a COKE BOTTLE you may be in trouble.

I find that a LEE carbide final size and crimp die will take care of those fat bullets nicely.
