1911 loads
I am starting to load a batch of 160 gr .45 acp semi-wadcutters. Going to be shooting them from my Kimber 1911. Anyone have any experience with the 160 grain semi-wadcutter in the 1911? I am wondering about the overall length.

Stick with about 1.250, unless you want feeding problems. I used to load 155gr's when I shot a comp gun, and that's the lenght that worked best. 0 -

I was told to seat the larger part of the bullet about 20 thousandths out of the case then crimp to .468
I would have to go home and measure the OAL but as is I don't have any feed problems.
get yourself a head space gauge and drop all of your finished loads into it, It will save you the occasional jamb0
