No.Just store them as you would ammo or powder or cases, responsibly. Many people even prefer to purchase primed cases when new.[?] I have had primed cases from 6 months ago and load them regularly. I keep them in a Folgers coffee Container plastic with a lid and a small dessicant package ("DO NOT EAT" variety).Really saves on loading time when in a pinch for ammo for a match that just came up. Just add powder and bullet and go.

Well I've only been reloading for 6months and I'm buying alot of stuff so I dont want to have 400 piles of brass in different stages of loading.

I have 308 match brass that was primed two years ago, and goes bang every time. Just store then where it is dry and the temp doesn't change much.

Just store the primed brass like you would ammo and you'll have no problems. I was cleaning up in the basement last month and found a box of factory primed 9mm brass that had fallen off the back of the shelf and laid on the floor long enough (probably more than a year) for the box to disintegrate and they fired just fine. Not reccomended but fact.

I picked up a bag of antique 30-06 brass that someone had torn down for components. Still had the original primers in them, all dated from the teens through the 1940s. It think out of 500 I had perhaps 1 or 2 misfires and they had been open to the air for years and years.

Had primed cases that were made that way in 1980 - kept inside a MTM ammo box in the Calif Desert. Just brought them up to NorthWest a year or so ago, and shot them last month. All 100 went fine, no noticeable variations/problems.
