anyone tried this HOME MADE BORE CLEANER
had a old bench rest shooter tell me today that the best bore cleaner-copper cleaner is a homemade brew. which is amiomma,gm top engine cleaner an marvel mystery oil. have any of you ever heard of this,an if so whats the recipe. he told me one but i just want to make sure of the mix.

Ammonia is a great bore cleaner, but you have to have the industrial strenth, household is too weak. I don't have any idea about the other stuff he was talking about. Ofcourse, you know about the fumes from ammonia, and what it will do to you. Mercury is also a great lead remover, but it's not very good for ya either.
