Sims limb saver work?

Has anyone done any testing on the limb savers for barrels-do they reduce groups sizes as they state? In theory by reducing the flex of the barrel it should assist in recovery of the barrel as it flexes and as a result be more accurate. But theory's never pay the bills.

  The Sims LimbSaver Barrel De-Resonator changes or modifies the harmonics that occur in a barrel when a cartridge is fired and the bullet travels down the barrel. You can accomplish a similar result by using some form of weight such as lead wire or solder wrapped around the barrel if you want to experiment without buying a De-Resonator.
  
  The idea is to find the 'sweet spot' of the harmonics for a particular load. This sweet spot is where the harmonics are such that the bullet exits the muzzle at the same time (in micro-second) and same place in the oscillation, consistently. If you change bullets or propellant, you will need to test again since the oscillation will change.
  
  There are lots of variations in this thinking such as the B.O.S.S., 'tuners' which are similar to muzzle brakes but work on an eccentric, adjustable weight systems, adjustable rare earth magnets and probably more but you get the idea. They all sell the same idea using a different method.
  
  In my experience, you'll use the same amount of ammunition working up a load for your rifle, which is tuning, as you will using the tuner so I don't see a net gain.
