tumbling loaded round 2
i read with interest the first thread on tumbling loaded rounds, but i have a different question on the subject. is it all right to tumble loaded rounds if i have no intention of shooting them. i collect old cartridges and have been told by alot of people that it is safe to do so, i have never done it but i have a few real old cartridges in my collection that could use a good cleaning.

It kinda hurts collector value if you tumble them. 0 -
I wouldn't tumble any of my collector cartridges, besides polished up old cartridges just don't look right.
you definatly DON'T want to tumble lead or paper patched bullets.
The only ones in my display are some NM rounds that I got in a grab bag (I bought the bag just to get the bullets & Garand clips out of it), and then I only had 2 choices, tumble or scrap (they were/are that bad). Their fairly shiny, but still show the dammage from the thick green corrosion.0
