loading barnes 270 110 grain tipped TSX
i have 2 very fine 270's i use for hunting, usually shoot hornady SSTs for big midwestern deer at sometimes long range. just bought a box of 110 grain barnes tipped TSX bullets to try. where can I get some load data? never shot barnes before, nor a bullet this light in 270.

Not sure what to tell you. I know that Barnes is suppose to release their new reloading book soon, but other then that I haven't seen any data for the tipped bullets yet.

Did you try the barnes website for reloading data. www.barnesreloadingdata.com 0 -
it seems that website requires a $75/yr membership, correct? 0 -
If that's the case then there better be some REALLY, REALLY good data there. Good luck with your search. 0 -
Hornady has published data for their 110 gr. bullets. You could compare load data for Barnes 130 gr. loads to your 130 gr. loads with the same powder and make a comparable adjustment to the 110 gr. bullets. Give yourself some safety factor and it will give you a place to start. Ultimately, your load will have to fit your specific rifle. 0 -
