imr 3031 for the 25-06
I am fairly new to reloading and only have one manual so can any body give me some load data for the 25-06 using imr3031. The only one i found is 45.5 gr for 100gr bullet. i recently purchased 1000 bullets of the auction side that are 75gr all the way to 120 gr.If no one has any info on imr3031 can you recomend a powder to try.

3031 may be a bit fast for the 25-06. Varget is alittle more versatile, also 4064. try this link

Agree, then click rifle, wait then go to 25-06.0 -
ill do that and thanks for the info 0 -
That is a bit fast,..not that it can't be used,..but I'd like a slower powder like 4350, RL19, RL22, 4831 etc 0 -
I agree with the above. 3031 is great for short barrels. Burns fast and clean. If'n it was me, I'd work with the 4350 in that round. 0 -
3031 is a little to fast for the 25-06...I think 4064 is too for that matter. I use 4350 myself...4831 works too but my rifle likes the 4350 better. 0
