best way to prep military 308 brass for reloading
having problems finding comerical 308 brass but can find lots of military brass but what is best way to remove primer and prep for reloading ? thanks

Where are you looking for brass? It's out there to be found. With military brass you are going to have to remove the primer crimp. The tool to do that can cost anywhere from $10-90 depending on how fancy you want to get. Other than the primer crimp, prep is the same. Most of the military brass is most likely machine gun brass that will be harder to size and wear out sooner. 0 -

It's out there, you just have to look. If you want cheap brass, I'm afraid you're out of luck. The metals market has taken care of that for you.

Yes, military brass requires you remove primer crimp, and extra lube to FULL LENGTH RESIZE, but the cheap cost and extra heavy weight of the case is well worth it. don't be afraid of it, eat it up!!! 0 -
i am a dealer and all my suppliers are out and iam not paying the price that other dealers are charging i dont need it that bad thats why i was wondering bout the military stuff and i will order a dillon swage setup to take care of that thanks 0 -
The Dillon is the way to go. Almost all of the military brass will need trimmed and chamfered. Watch out for the occasional primer with just the center knocked out and don't try to swage those. 0
