Ultra dot is my second choice Gilmore original 32MM and now the 35MM is what is my first choice. I have a 32MM on my Bulls-Eye wad gun mounted on the slide. With over 100,000 rounds through it . The reason I like the Gilmore 35 is it is OCTAGON so it is always straight up to adjust vertical and horizontal Zero . The other small item is the dot Seems to me to have a focal length closer to the 25 yard distance then the Ultra dot . I use a single lens reflex camera to focus on the dot and then look at the distance on the lens of the camera What this does for you the shooter is allow both the target and the dot be in focus and close to in focus at the same time regardless on if you are a look at the dot shooter or look at the target shooter[^]. The ultra dot is very good and I suggest you buy at least one of the units that has 4 different dot sizes. this will allow you to find a dot size that WORKS for you If you have a steady hold then a small 2 minute dot will give you a good fine sighting point[:)]. However if you are like the rest of us with some tremor a large dot 8 minutes will look more like it is floating not a vibrating buzz[xx(][:(]. The Gilmore also has a dot that is more then bright enough on the sunniest day[:)] the Filters on other unit are the pits they will turn during the middle of a rapid fire string[V].
