Thompson Encore 308 pistol loads
Anyone reloading for their Thompson Encore 308 pistol? We have a 15" 308 barrel and would like to shoot 165g Sierra bullets in it. We have found some but not a lot of specific pistol data in our books and will likely use rifle data to start. I am looking to see if anyone has any pet loads that shoot well for them in the Thompson pistols? Thanks.

Hello I had a single shot conversion unit bolt action in 308 That had a 14inch barrel that FIT on a 1911 Frame[:D][:p] It kicked like a mule and my hand would go numb but it did shoot good I used the fastest burn rate powders listed in the rifle loads. Slower powders had too much muzzle flash to hunt with [:0][}:)] 0 -
Hey BHAVIN, if you go back to my earlier entries, you will find that I had some really good loads and results of my Lone Eagle in 308. I have some loads that are easily capable of MOA or sub consistently. Holler back if you need more.

Thank you! 7mmbr I will check out your loads for the 165 and work with them. I will probably be trying Varget, 748 and H335 as well. I think we have RE 15 but I may try yhe others before I but some IMR 4064. 0 -
