Rock Chucker Supreme or Redding Big Boss?
I want a very strong single stage press and it is between these two. I've heard the RC Supremem has alot of issues with the primer catcher but is a good press. Have heard no negatives and actually not much at all about the Redding Big Boss. Anyone have a vote on the matter?

I own a Rock Chucker Supreme. I have never used the Primer option that come with it because i use a hand primer for that. Its a good press. Never had any problems with it. One the other hand I also have used the Redding BigBoss. I think that it was built a little sturdier than the RCBS Rock Chucker. They both cost about the same. If i were to buy another press i would get the Redding. Big Boss or the Big Boss 2. Good luck. 0 -
Oh im a dork. Primer catcher. Yes its crap. Whem im decapping my primers they go all over. Plus the catch tray is kinda hard to get off. gotta give it a little musscle then primers go all over. Go redding. 0 -
lets throw the Lee Classic Cast in there as well. Hear it is tough as nails and catches all spent primers too. At about half the cost. 0 -
Redding...no doubt about it. 0 -
Primers a hassle? Love my Bonanza Coax. 0 -
I like my RCBS RC very much. I have 5 presses set up and they all leave primers on the floor, although I don't have a Redding.
(1) RCBS RC-single,(2) Lee-singles, and (2)Dillon progressives.0 -
You couldn't go wrong with either RCBS or Redding. They are both top notch presses and will outlast you. I have 5 presses at present----1 RCBS Rockchucker, 1 C-H C press, 1 C-H 3 station H press, 1 Dillon Square Deal, 1 Dillon 550B. 0
