Nothing special, just everything is a lot bigger...including how fast you go through a pound of powder...but a great cartridge!

Use the Lee case lube when resizing. Nothing else seems to work. It's messy, but stick a .50 BMG cartridge and you'll see. Ask me how I know. That said, just go buy an extra handle, ball, and the attachment spool. Took about 100 cases sized before it went.

Once fired military brass seems to get about 1 in 10 necks cracked, so inspect carefully.

Buy powder buy the jug. A get a scoop for it.

Understand, you ain't loading .223. Hope the account is fat!!!!Ask me how I know[:D]

If you can make it to knob creek Ky show You can get big things of powder, bullets, primers, and projectiles for "good" prices. Friends of mine had hand deprimers so its easier to size them

I have a good friend that builds 50 bmg rifles and reloads for a living. He uses Hornady's "Unique" case lube and it works great. He has loaded thousands of 50 rounds and has never stuck a case. He uses and sells Hornady presses as they are built really tough.
For rounds he uses Military powder and Pulled bullets for plinking and Hodgdon 50bmg powder and Hornady 750g Amax bullets for competition. He tries to use Military LC brass but it can be hard to find he bought some new Mag Tech 50 brass and said that it he does not like it much as the brass is soft.

    What gun do you have?

I shoot an Armalite AR-50. Do the pulled bullets need to be resized?
