I was thinking about building a custom 10/22. What is a better barrel Green Mountain, ER Shaw, or Pig Whistle? I am also looking for a stock I want a Red/Black laminete what is a good brand under $200?

  Boyd stock for what you are looking for
  Douglas, Clark, Volquartsen or Shillen barrel
  Jard or Volquartsen or Kidd trigger

  Forget your barrel choices...they are ok but not really good barrels. Douglas, Lilja or Shilen are all better. Personally I would go with the Lilja, they make top of the line 22 rf barrels. Boyd makes stocks for under $200 and for the price they are good.

  Yes they all make great barrel too...just partial to lilja
