2 questions
O.K. I'm looking for some guidance here. First question is this. I would like to get into some sort of competitive shooting where I can just shoot my hunting rifles, not invest a ton of money into a rifle. Not that I wouldn't invest a ton of money if I had it to spare, but I don't. What kind of class would fit that kind of description, or is there a class that I could fit into? My next question is this. What would be a proper scope recommendation that I could use for both for hunting and a mild form of competition that I am seeking to get into? I plan on joining the local Izaac Walton league here shortly, so perhaps I could get some answers there, but I would like some info to get the brain juices flowing. Thanks Much

Thanks for the info JustC and nononsense. Very useful stuff on those websites. Next week I am going to get in my first competition. I will be going to Fort Benning, Ga to shoot in the Small Arms Championships for the Army. Sometimes being in the military has it's advantages. Where else could I get a job that is going to pay me to go to Georgia, get a weeks worth of top notch marksmanship instruction from Camp Perry shooting instructors, and then have another week of fun shooting on the infantry assault ranges. This is going to be a heck of a bunch of fun. 0
