Carnuba wax as a bullet lube

I recently bought some cast bullets that have been lubed with carnuba wax. Has anyone used these as is or do I need to use a regular lube like alox also.

  I've used it as an ingredient but not as a sole lubricant. Should work ok for low velocity loads, but I'm not sure about higher power stuff. Usually wax is used basically as a carrier for other things, though it does have some lubricating properties in and of itself.
  
  Try it, let us know. Worst comes to worst you could tumble them in Lee liqud alox as an additional aide.
