CCI Benchrest Primers
A while ago I wrote the forum and asked about hangfires with CCI BR primers and got a variety of answers, for which I thank you. Yesterday I was shooting up the last 10 rounds of handloads with this primers just a few benches down from a very experienced benchrest shooter. i was getting the same old click-bang from these 10 cartridges - accuracy was OK but I had to follow through like a blackpowder rifle.
I asked him if he had ever had any problems with them and he said he'd had exactly the same experience with his benchrest rifles and now used only Federal 210 Match primers and no more problems. Just another data point on this question for the forum.

Im not disagreeing with you about that. I use CCI BR2s and BR4s. I have shot thousands of them and never had a misfire. I will keep an eye out for it. Have you called CCI to see what the problem is? Id like to know what they say about it. 0
