    Mikein,

20 Tactical is a great caliber. The parent case for the 20 Tactical is the .223 Rem necked down to 20 cal while sharpening the shoulder angle to 30 degrees...and a little less body taper on the case. The Dakota brass was made by Lapua...in fact you can now buy Lapua 20 Tactical brass. Starting loads I don't do...I will tell you my three most accurate loads...but they are all MAX Loads or close to it. 28 grains of WW748, 26 grains of either exterminator or benchmark...all are going about 3950 fps to 4000 fps out of my 25 inch barrel. All will put 5 shots into 1/2 inch or less at 100 yards...the best will go into 1/4 inch and that is the exterminator load. The WW748 is a real close second...benchmark is third but that is in my gun. Enjoy have a a great cartridge!!

Thanks for the sites and the information, everyone!

nononsense, I'm sure I'll recover from the indignity of the attack! The word in gun circles and firearm dealers is that I'm considered "easy;" guess that makes me a walking target for this kind of treatment in the future!

    5mmgunguy,

What bullet and what primer do you use for these loads?

Bullet was 32 gr Hornady...primer was Federal 205. You didn't ask but the case was WW 223 reformed

Thanks, 5mmgunguy. I have a good supply of the 32 gr. Hornady's, since I also reload the .204 Ruger with them. I'll be using the Dakota Arms Brass so I won't have to do any interim forming, and will try the 205 primer. I normally use Remington 7 1/2's and CCI BR-4's.
