How many of you have one? I have one (is was a 35 Remington that was re-chambered for the 358 Winchester and in a pump). and my father has about 5 in his collection (he does not shoot them they are all brand new in the box except a browning blr and a straight stock (think that's a savage lever action as well)) If you do have one, what are your pet loads for them (if you want to disclose them)?

The 358 is an amazing cartridge and reloading them is as simple as reloading any other round. Love it with really good ballistics.

I actually contacted Remington themselves and asked if they would make me a custom R-25 from the 308 to the 358. I think it would be amazing in a semi auto. I might just buy a r-25 in the 308 and take it to a reputable gunsmith. Unfortunately, Remington denied me. But I love the Round. What are your thoughts?

This is another of the line that was originally designed for use as a pistol bullet. It also handled the maximum velocity from a 358 Norma Mag. Although this bullet obviously can handle some very high velocities, I picture its best use to be on deer or hog size game from either pistols or rifles. The only reports back on the field experience with this bullet were with deer shot with rifles. All shots were clear through, including lengthwise, and no bullets were recovered.

Try those and see what you get.

    Best.

I built one for a friend in a XP-100 pistol this past summer and it shoots the 200 gr Accubond very well.
He shot 3 deer with it this year and none went out of sight.... and all completely passed through with mush in the middle......
