What would be my best bet for target shooting at 200 to 300 yards??

Grain?

Brand?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  The vast majority of factory/military 30-06 barrels are twisted 1 turn in 10 inches (1:10). The couple exceptions that I can think of were factory varmenters that came in a 1:12 twist.
  
  My 1:12 barrel likes the 150gr NBT's, but that dosn't mean anything once we move to a different rifle.
  For a "standard" 1:10 try various 150gr to 175gr bullets and see which brand and weight your rifle prefers.
