beretta 32 cal tomcat
what are your thoughts on this as a personal carry. a lady was asking me about it. told her i would get on here and get some info and thoughts about it.

I have the Alleycat and carry it with WW Silvertips. It is heavy for it's size, but for a woman to carry it in her purse it would be OK. 0 -

It's a good gun, but not a gun to learn to shoot on though if she doesn't already know how to handle a handgun. The small sight radius and relatively poor trigger make accuracy difficult for the inexperienced. 0 -
hey 1302, thx for the reply and yes she knows how to handle and shoot a gun. i told her about the sights too cause i had a bobcat. but anyway what choice of gun would you recommend? 0 -
If there is a range in your area that rents firearms, take her there and let her shoot a few. if there is no range go to the gun shop and handle some and see what feels good in her hands. She needs one that she can handle well, and feels comfortable with. 0 -
