I'm presently using crushed walnut shells that seem to do a good job. As it gets a little low I just add more. At some point do you change out the lot? What, if anything, do you add for more effective cleaning?

  I have had good luck Rejuvinating Walnut shells by pouring a cup of acetone in the media while it is running in the Vibrator. I don't know what it does, but it sure brings the media, back to life.

  I put a few cap fulls of a polishing compound called KIT SCRATCH OUT I found a Wal-Mart. It is a very fine liquid and mixes with the media, and you don't have to mix it with anything like jewler's rouge to thin it. It's only acouple of $$ for a 7oz. bottle [:)]
