CCI #41 Primer

Anyone know the difference between the 41 Nato and the M41mil-spec as to sensitivity. Can either work whith a M1 Carbine?

  I just use small rifle primers with my carbine reloads and have had no problems with them.I use either Winchester or CCI. They seem a lot easier to find.

  I keep being told that normal primers will work but I am worried about slam fires. One guy said it only happened every 100 rounds or so. Just a bit more than I would like.

  I've never had a slam fire in the 3 matches we shoot a year, for the last 5 years plus practice for them.

  usually a slamfire occurs when single loading by hand
  they are rare when feeding from the mag..
  your milage may varry..
