Here you go.
Remington SP case, plastic basewad.
1 1/8 oz
22 grains 4756
Rem SP16
Win 209 Primer
1231 FPS
10,600 LUP
Right from my Lyman book.
Hope this helps0 -
does it show anything for one step down? im thinking maybe go 21gr to get it closer to 1200 with a lower lup.
what ya think?0 -
I just checked the IMR powder guide, and it lists a drop to 1175 fps if you use a Fed. 209 primer instead of the Winchester.
It still calls for an SP16 wad and 22 grains of 4756.
I like 4756 powder. It's a bit dirty burning, but it seems to be very easy to adjust loads with it without running into problems.0 -
19 grains of 800-X, Fed 209A, and Rem SP16 is listed at 10,800 and 1200 fps on the nose. 0 -
22 grains of 7625, Rem 209P primer, and a SP16 wad is also listed dead on at 1200 fps. 0 -
Remington Hull, Rem. 209 primer, IMR PB Powder, Rem. SP16 wad, 20.0 grains, 1250fps, 10,700psi, 1oz shot.
Remington Hull, Rem. 209 primer, IMR PB Powder, Rem. SP16 wad, 21.0 grains, 1200fps, 10,500psi, 1 1/8oz shot.
Remington Hull, Rem. 209 primer, IMR SR-7625, Rem.SP16 wad, 23.0 grains, 1200fps, 9000psi, 1 1/8oz shot.
These loads are the best found for trap, and game loads. Hope this helps.0
