Any ony have any info or sources?; I thought Rem. devoleped them for the 5.56 ctg. so that may explain why the scarcity.

  Yes they are used for the 5.56 x 45mm.
  
  Where have you tried?
  
  If you don't have any available locally, you will have to pay a HazMat fee of $20.00 per shipment.
  
  Graf & Sons shows them in stock in boxes of 1,000.
  
  TNT Reloading shows them in stock.
  
  DNR Sports shows them in stock.

  Try cabelas also they had them saturday
