505 Gibbs load data
I'm looking for some load data for the 505 Gibbs using slow powders....7828 etc.....535 and 600 gr. bullets. Everything I found googling listed faster powders using fillers which I prefer not to use if possible. Thanks.

That's because of the size of the case and lack of slow powders when so much of the development work was going on. Loads that feature the slower powders are noted for their drastic inefficiencies, most wasting somewhere between 10% and 15% of the total load. That can amount to 21 grains of powder wasted on each shot. Here is one batch:

You can call Hodgdon and ask for some data using their Retumbo powder which I think is pretty good for this cartridge and the 600 gr. bullets. You might also check on their US869 powder as well.
