What is your main purpose in shooting?

    Target? Self defence? BLASTING?

A load that I use a lot is a 115 gr fmj with 5.3gr of 231 and a CCI sp primer. I have shot them in my Glock 17.

Sounds like a nice load peary, thanks. Do you recommend any particular brand of 115gr FMJ?

I use Hodgdon Titegroup. 4.2g with a 115g jacketed bullet. Titegroup is cleaner, cheaper (around $2.00 per pound here) and goes farther as you use less powder. This load is a accurate target load. Titegroup will load most pistol cartridges and is not position sensitive. I use Plated Raineer or Remington FMJ or JHP.

I use what ever I can get a deal on. I use Winchester or Remington usually. This is used as a practice load for IDPA. I also shoot a lot of 125 gr cast lead loads with 4.9 gr of 231 in other 9s, not in Glocks.

6.0 grains of Blue Dot under a 115 grain FMJ with a CCI 500 primer is my favorite. Shoots all day, never had any problems and is very accruate.

No go away it's mine all mine. That is Cheaper. $2.00 per pound cheaper. I would own it all if it was $2.00 per pound. By the way it works well for 44 mag loads!

I just loaded a batch of Ranier 115gr Plated HP bullets with 4.3grs of n-320 powder and Winchester WSP primer. Going to do some field testing later today.

The Raniers shot great, I made a typo on the forum though, I loaded 124gr Plated Ranier HP's with 4.3gr n-320 and WSP, not 115gr.

All in all it was probably a little hot, I will probably reduce the powder charge to 4.0gr and see how it does.
