Hello If you think of this as 2 lines starting from 2 different points . one the center line of the bore and the other the centerline of the red dot you will note that they can only cross at one distance from the start[:(] the GOOD NEWS is that the bullet path is not a straight line but rather and ARC. thus the path of these 2 lines one straight and one a curve will allow the lines to cross twice[:)]. the BAD NEWS To YOU is the higher the red dot is in relationship to the bore the father these two points will be apart[xx(]. My suggestion is to ZERO at the longer distance and then hold off at the shorter distance [^]. It is easier to say hold 2inches off at 50 yards then at 100 yards. The other thing you might want to try is if you say have a 4 minute dot use a 6 O-clock hold at one distance a center hold at the other or even a 12 Hold.I take it you either cant or don't want to change scope mount. . If you have a good red dot like a GILMORE or ULTRA-DOT you can change the vertical adjustment for different distance I change my zero in matches and practice every time I go from 50 yards to 25 yards and then change back when I go back to 50 yards.I have one Gilmore almost 20 years old and it has been changed thousands of times[:p]with no failures[:D][:D][:D].
