llama max-1 is a 1911 clone???

i have a llama max 1 like i said. it looks exactly like a 1911. i could even use 1911 mags with no prob. does anyone know for sure if i can use standard 1911 parts ect. (barrels, recoil springs, slide)
any info needed

  I think the extracter is different.

  I have a Llama and a number of other 1911s. The magazine is the only part that I have found that is interchangeable.

  I've heard it is hit or miss; a lot of parts are close, but generally close doesn't cut it.
  
  Now my Llama extra from 1931...that is a true 1911 clone.

  so i guess im going to have to just try it but dont have my hopes up.
  i was really thinking into getting the recoil spring and maybe a barrel..
