Surplus powder
Will military surplus 4895 powder yield similar results to commercial IMR and Hodgdon 4895? Just for cheaper plinking loads so it doesnt have to be perfect. Where would I get data for it?

I have used a good bit of it with good success. I use IMR 4895 data. I thought it had dried up. I haven't seen any for awhile. 0 -

I just saw it at Widener's but it said 0 in stock. Maybe they don't get anymore. I just assumed they were out temporarily.[:I] 0 -

Widener's is out of stock; I and a few buddies of mine went in on an order last fall, when it was nearly dried up. Who knows if/when more will be available?
It is good stuff, I haven't noticed any difference compared to commercial 4895, so if you find it, go for it.0
