22-250 loads?

need some help loading for my new remington 22-250 rifle with a 1-14 twist.what bullet and weight shoots good out of these guns?i have alot of win 748 powder on hand,hope too find some good loads using that powder.do you know of any loads with that powder?thanks don

  You are in luck. I have a rugger mark II .22-250 also a 1-14 twist that I reload for. I had a hard time finding a load that would shoot even as good as factory loaded ammo. I used varget, h380, imr3031. Finally I got out the w748. I use a cci mag primer, 52gr hpbt from Sierra, and 33gr of 748. I can consistantly cover my 5 shot groups with a dime(100m). I shoot this exact same load out of my savage long range precision, and it likes it just as well if not better than the ruger does. Ryan
