K-31 Swiss ammo - 30 cal pills ?

I hope I'm not bringing up old news. I've reloaded for 30+ years, but my pet calibers have not changed much in that time. The 'cowboy powders' are the only thing that's got me doing something different.

But , on to my question.....
I picked up one of the Swiss K-31 rifles out of curiosity.
If the 7.5 X 55 Swiss for K-31 utilizes a 7.62 projectile. Why not take advantage of the wealth of 30 cal pills out there when reloading for it ?

  As long as they are .308 diameter they will work fine.

  We are...Shoot everything from 150 to 178 grain 30 caliber bullets.

  I(we) do! I load 150 SP, 165 SP and HP, 168 Nosler custom and 175 SMK and Gameking's and Sie 190 gr. BTHP.
  
  With a 1-12" twist you are limited for bullet choice away from the heavy heavies of the .30 cal.

  I load a lot of .308s in my 7.5 Swiss. 168 and 173 match as well as my 162 gr gas checked cast bullets.
