444 contender

I recently acquired a barrel for an old type TC contender SS.super 14 rechamberd from 44mag to 444 marlin.Is this safe to shoot factory amo? I don"t plan on shooting factory but just asking. I would apperciate suggestions.on loads from someone with exp.with this .Thanks Mike.

  There should be no reason it is not safe but you could ask a gunsmith if your worried.
  The 265gr Hiornady flat point and H-322 or RL-7 are a good combo if you plan on reloading for it.
