springfield xd 40 tactical

Just Bought xd Have not shot it yet does anyone know a good roung for this gun? and even a good hollow point. maybe some suggestions.

  For my XD Sub-Compact i use a 155gr Hornady HP-XTP, with 8.0 gr of AA No.5. I am a fam of the Win WSP primer. I have also had good luck with 5.6 gr of N320 for a light practice round using the same bullet and primer. Hope that helps you out. I have the 3 inch barrel. I think your have the 4 1/2? I think you will see the same results.
