25.7 to 27.9gr 0 -
Rugerniner,
My '78 says what Tailgunner's says and that is with an AR15 rifle.
My new one says 24.8-28.3 in a bolt gun and 25.6-27.7 in an AR150 -
Yeah, hold on...
I show a 45gr spitzer over 28.5gr of H335 givin 3429fps. MAX load
27.5 shooting 3316fps
26.5 giving 3208fps.0 -
This load I'll be shooting out of a Ruger M77 MarkII Rifle for accuracy.
I guess 26.5 wouldn't be a bad place to start.
We all know Rugers are over built. [:D] [:D] [8D]
Unless somebody has a suggestion?0 -
[8D]--My Sierra info say's just what tailgunner says-25.7/27.9gr of H335--
--However their ACCURACY load is 24.5 gr of IMR-3031 at 3200 fps--
--Their hunting load is 25.7 gr of H322 at 3300 fps-
--However their test data is with a Colt AR15A2 HBAR bbl length 20"/1-7 twist--
--[:D][:D]--JIMBO0 -
My Sierra edition V shows both Bolt and AR rifle loads the Bolt loads are. For 45g with H335 test gun was a Rem 600 1x14" twist 24" long barrel.
24.8g @3100fps min
28.3g @3600fps max
Accurcy load was 27.6 @3500fps with H335
I realize most of this was stated above but I wanted to throw in the exact gun and the accuracy load. [;)]
Rugerniner. I believe that I can email you the page if you want. I have the 4th edition on disk I can check if it is the same. Email me if you would like it.0
