308 Brass Trimming Frequency

How often after you have trimmed brass to minimum overall length would you check it again to be sure it didn't exceed maximum overall length on 308? I'm not going for maximum benchrest accuracy just safe hunting and target shooting

  I'm not running at the very top pressures for my Match brass so after fireforming in a new chamber, I generally trim then go as long as 3 reloads before I trim again. But I check brass case length every time since I'm at the bench and I have a pair of calipers handy all the time. It doesn't take long to measure a few cases and trim if need be or just leave them alone if they measure O.K. It really depends on your loads and your chamber.
