just bought a pound of varget and a pound of imr 4895.plan on using 150gr or 165gr hollow point boat tail bullets.looking for an accurate load out too 200yds.mostly for paper punching.thanks

  I use 42 gr. of 4895 behind a 168 gr. bullet. I used the Varget a little but wasn't all that impressed with the changes. It did a little better for me in the .223 case. But, the 4895 does well there also. A lot of the guys I know shoot with Varget in medium size cases though and really like it.

  44.5gr Varget behind the 168's.

  I use 42 gr IMR 4895 with 150 gr bullet and 40.5 gr 4895 with 168 gr match hp.
