[:D]Good morning, I haven't asked any questions here for a LONG TIME, but

I wondered if any of you have used this powder on any of your rifles BIGGER than the (.223/22-250/22 mag-etc)

I got 5 lbs of it years ago and it's been super for my ,223/22-250-so

Any body used it on anything BIGGER ???

    Thanx

[8D]--Yo dcloco, gladly I will-My best loads with the AA2230c is with a Remington 700BDL Bull bbl/24"/1 in 10 twist. Westinghouse brass/cci BR4 primers/52 gr Sierra HPBT bullets and (are you ready for this)?? 24.2 gr's of AA2230c the AOL of the cartridge is 2.315". now the loading was done (always) in my computer room so the temp was 70 deg and I use a PACT digital measure--you have to be careful with this powder (each case) because it's FINE powder and easy to overfill!!!--My best group with 5 shots at 100 yds is .209". Thats using a NIKON "Buckmaster" 6-18x-40mm scope-Similar story with my WBY .243 (.315") with AA2230-hence my question on the 22-250--GOOD LUCK--[:p][:p]--JIMBO

    Thanks for the info.

Try some Remington 50 and 55 grain PLHP's...you just might be surprised at how well they fly (and gut prairie dogs).

My info on the 2230C said to use AA2460 data. I'm getting ready to load some medium range 308 with pulled 147 fmj m80 bullets and planned to go ahead with conservative 2460 data. Is this about right?

Better check Accurate's website for loading info. At the very least, send an email, they are always very good about answering promptly.

Everything that I have read and asked Accurate - use the 2230 reloading info.

[8D]--Yo Mobuck, just as a side note: AA lists the (308) load for 150gr FMJ, to start at 39.1 gr's and I think that was their Military load for the Auto's--just be careful, it's a touchy powder!![:o)][:o)]--JIMBO

I emailed Accurate about 2230C load data and was told to use AA2460 load dta, as always start low and work up.
