cleaning media
I have always used corn cob media on my tumbler. How do I know when it is time to get new media? The stuff I have is about 10 years old, but still cleans the brass up nice and shiny.
When is the media to old? or is there no limits?

I would use it as long as it cleans, then change over to rice. I went to rice about two years ago. 0 -
Thanks for the Rice deal. I have been using corn cob for the last 3 years and I also have never changed mine and it gets used weekly.

I use what ever is cheapest snd mix it with a citrus based cleaner such as the one Midway sells. It both cleans and polishes. Someone here on GB recommended it a couple of years ago and that is all I use anymore. 0
