Favorite loading for .222 REM.

I lost my info for my favorite load, now i have to start over.I was using remington case, remington primer, speer 52 gr hp, and 20 some gr of h-335 in a rem 722. What do you use?

  griz,I've had very good results with WW748 powder in this cartridge,you might try getting a lb. of it and try it,just a thought

  imr 3031 22.3 gr, 52 gr sierra match hp, remington case, CCI benchrest primer. this from a remington 700 varmint special.

  19.1gr of IMR 4198, 55gr bullet. Shooting it out of my Steyr match 222. Just one big ole hole at 100.

  Ditto to RowdyDan on the 4198. Depending on the brass and rifle I've used 18:5 to 19.5 with 52 and 53 grain bullets. Nice combo.

  My favorite load for that rifle was 22.5 gr. of br(XMR)2015 behind a 50 gr. sierra spitzer.

  You might want to check out the current Sierra manual as they have a "most accurate" load specified for each of their bullets. Lyman also list accuracy loads in their manual.
  
  I've always like Sierra, 52 gr BTHP with 21.5 of IMR 4198.

  You might want to give Reloader 7 a try, it works very well too.
