Copper washed bullets
Such as Western uses on their ammo, does it actually help reduce lead fouling or is it for looks ?

It does reduce (eliminate) leading and allow higher bullet speeds in my experience. 0 -
What did you have in mind, .22s, or military surplus?
The 22s are covered in the above statements, however with surplus mil-spec it is a preservative coating over mild steel with minimal benefits.0
