You have changed the harmonics of the barrel....back to the reloading bench for you...time to start over.

Wipe-out for 24hrs and the copper will be gone. Supposedly Montana Extreme 50BMG will work even faster.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

    Eric,

I'm going to state the obvious right up front but don't take it the wrong way.

    If I had a Weatherby (any model) that was shooting 3/8" @ 100 yds. and 2" @ 500 yds.
I WOULDN'T EVER DO ANYTHING TO AT ALL!

That is terrific accuracy for any factory rifle by any manufacturer and it's not even a bench rifle. How much better did you expect?

Krieger barrels, buttoned or cut, are cryo'd at the shop as a part of the production process. John used to cryo twice but has since decided that once is enough.

You will have to start your load work up over as pointed out above because the harmonics of the barrel have been changed significantly. Get an agressive copper cleaner such as Wipe-Out and let it work in the barrel. If that doesn't work (it should), you may have to resort to using some sort of polishing compound like JB or Remington.

    Best.

Thank you all for your input! Looks like I managed to screw up my loads just in time for rifle season[^]...Oh well...I'll just have to spend some time figuring this all out again. Thanks again![8D]
