reloading 454

Hello, Does anyone have loading info to on .454 with 260gr JFP using either IMR 4227 or Bullseye powder? Thanks for your help!!

Hello, if it is for the Casull you can start at 33.0grs of IMR 4227 for 1600fps, then for the max load it is 35 grs for 1700fps. For a seven in barrel.

4227 works OK but if your looking for the optimun powder you need to look to WW296 or H-110, and a very hard crimp.

Bullseye is not a very good powder for heavy loads in the 454 casull.

Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.
